Summer's right around the corner which means monsoon season in India and my semi-annual trip back to grab sounds and figure out where things have progressed for hip-hop.
One of the biggest projects on my plate this year is working with my big brother Karsh Kale on Afrika Bambaataa's next release. We're in the home stretch, and hoping to all hit the road this winter for a set of shows that'll be...well...mind bending! Although we've not been running cameras and documenting a whole lot (as of yet) due to the need to keep the vibe fresh, here's a rare capture of when Karsh and I were working on pre-production for the first song.
